This is why we chose to become industry certified and consistently meet or exceed their requirements.

AAA’s rigorous certification program only recommends the top shops to their customers. Only 3% of all Boulder County auto repair shops are AAA approved. We work very hard to maintain our status, turning in great survey results year after year. In fact, our most recent survey-related customer satisfaction rating was 100%!
ASA is the largest auto repair association in the country. As one of the ASA’s 13,000 members, Pellman’s Automotive is active in a network of professionals that have the best information and the most up-to-date vehicle technology. Our membership also means we are bound to the ASA’s code of ethics and are committed to the highest quality, most ethical repair. Brad was on the Board of Directors 2010- 2020 and served as the Chairman from 2017-2020.
Hanging in our office, you’ll see a framed certificate displaying the ASE Blue Seal logo. This is another coveted symbol of recognition – one earned by only 1% of all auto repair shops! ASE – an independent, non-profit organization – was established in 1972 with the mission to improve high-quality vehicle repair and service and help clearly identify superior technicians and facilities to the public. Brad has served on the ASE Board of Governors since 2013 and was named to the ASE Executive Board in 2018 and became Vice-Chairman in 2021.
The Auto Care Association is the voice of the 500,000 businesses in the auto care industry from independent manufacturers, distributors, repair shops, marketers, and retailers small and large. The organization's mission is to foster and promote communications and interaction between car care professionals and manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of the Auto Care Association. Brad was nominated to join the leadership committee of the Car Care Professional Network in 2012 and served a two-year term.
Local Business Support organization providing professional education, advocacy, networking, research, and economic development. The Boulder Chamber is a dynamic organization comprised of more than 1,600 businesses that help shape the local economy, promote community awareness, and set the pace for the future of Boulder County and beyond.

Shop Certification and Resources to help improve communication with customers. Repair shops that participate in the Motorist Assurance Program agree to adhere to the MAP Pledge of Assurance to Customers and the Standards of Service. MAP Approved Service Centers are certified through a series of tests.
PACE is a cooperative effort of the city of Boulder's Office of Environmental Affairs, Boulder County Public Health, City of Longmont, and Boulder Chamber of Commerce. Pellman's is proud to be a fully PACE-certified auto repair facility. To be certified, we are required to undergo annual inspections and adhere to PACE's recommended practices. In many cases, we go above and beyond the PACE recommendations in order to provide the exceptional commitment to environmental stewardship for which we've become known.
TECH-NET Professional Auto Service is an elite performance network of thousands of professional independent automotive service facilities across North America. Membership in TECH-NET is achieved through invitation only, subject to the approval of existing members, and reserved for the best facilities that adhere to TECH-NET’s strictest standards. Pellman’s is proud of our TECH-NET membership–a sign of experienced quality that customers can trust for service or repairs on any vehicle. Brad & Lisa are honored to have served on the TechNet National Advisory Council several times, and Brad currently serves on the CTi Council.
BG Products is committed to maintaining vehicles through high-quality automotive maintenance services for fuel systems, engines, transmissions, brakes, power steering, cooling, battery, driveline, and climate control systems. Pellman’s Automotive utilizes BG products often when servicing customer vehicles because they provide the highest quality automotive maintenance service products and equipment for consumer vehicles.
Pellman’s Automotive has done extensive research to find a quality supplier of remanufactured engines and transmissions. When we toured Jasper Engine and Transmissions, we liked what we saw and soon became one of their Preferred Installers. Jasper Engine & Transmissions is the nation’s largest re-manufacturer of gas and diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, rear axle assemblies, performance engines, and electric motors. They also carry a 3-year/100,000-mile transferable warranty.
We believe in the power of education. This is why Brad, Lisa and Dan chose to earn their AMI Automotive Manager accreditation. The Automotive Management Institute is the leading provider of management education for the automotive service industry.
